Quality

AFS is dedicated to quality data capture and we are proud to hold the
ISO 20252 accreditation. This internationally recognised quality accreditation is gained only through the establishment of disciplined, professional processes and checks.  It was established to ensure fieldwork is carried out in accordance with the very best industry practice. AFS is accredited in CATI, Door-to-Door, and Central Location Interviewing, and to meet the standards required for accreditation AFS has:

  • provided formal training for interviewers to ensure they fully understand their responsibilities according to ISO standards
  • provided regular, formal supervision of interviewers and conducted field observations to ensure the continuous development of the interviewer's skill
  • provided regular training of supervisors and an annual performance appraisal agreed to annual audits of our interviewing and fieldwork management practices.

To become a part of the AFS team, interviewers must go through a training regime and then are vigorously monitored and coached for their first 100 hours. At this point they shift from a training wage to graduate wage and are offered multiple paths of research opportunities reflecting their innate skills, personality and leadership abilities.

The company's focus is to continuously improve all aspects of its service offer. Each individual project is measured against relevant Key Performance Indicators.

We are an active member of the Association of Market and Social Research Organisations (AMSRO) and all executives are members of the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS). As such, all are bound by the ICC / ESOMAR code of ethics and professional practice.
